Bryan Gates, EA, of San Marcos, CA, was honored with the “Big Idea” award from the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) on August 4 at its 2015 National Conference at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Gates received the award in recognition of his vision and guidance in implementing the plan for the National Tax Practice Institute™ (NTPI®), which has become the nation’s premier education program on representation of clients before the IRS. Previously, the NAEA Board of Directors resolved to bestow on Gates the honorary title of “Father of NTPI” for his contributions.
“It’s fitting that on this 30th anniversary of NTPI, we acknowledge Bryan’s work with this award,” said NAEA President Terry Durkin, EA. “His goal of providing the highest quality of representation education available has been realized.”
