The Florida Society of Enrolled Agents (FSEA) is the professional society representing Enrolled Agents (EAs) in Florida. Members are licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), including examination, collection and appeals functions.
This website is a resource for FSEA members. FSEA is an affiliate of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). We encourage all tax practitioners to consider the benefits of joining. For other visitors, we invite you to browse our consumers or media pages.

February 24, 2010 (Tampa, Florida) -- FSEA combined forces with AARP and assisted viewers participating in the ABC Action News Tax Phone Bank and Web Chat. Dottie Bush, EA Passes Away
Long time member and chapter leader, Dottie Bush, passed away Sunday, February 14. Dottie was a driving force for the First Coast chapter members and will be missed by all who knew her.
After a distinguished career with the IRS, she became an Enrolled Agent and President of Bush & Gregory Consulting. She was committed to her community and her profession and served in many organizations.

ABC Action News Tax Phone Bank
January 27, 2010 (Tampa, Florida) -- Hundreds of viewers participated in the ABC Action News Tax Phone Bank and Web Chat during the Noon broadcast on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Florida Society of Enrolled Agents Suncoast Chapter members John H. Bryan, EA, Sue Ann Curd, EA, Jerry L. Joyce, EA, Sally Lindberg, EA, Karen E. On Monday, January 4, 2010, the IRS announced plans to require mandatory registration of all paid, signing tax return preparers as well as competency testing and CPE requirements for preparers other than CPAs, attorneys or enrolled agents. The plan also calls for extending Circular 230 ethics rules to all return preparers. Read more.
Over 3,100 Teddy Bears
Collected During Annual Drive
A special thanks to the FSEA members that participated in the Teddy bEAr collection drive this year. The annual donations this year included 3,125 bEArs and other stuffed animals plus $558 in cash. Those funds will be entirely used to purchase more bEArs during the coming year.
Our goals are to give some pleasure to the sick and needy kids in your neighborhood, get your Clients involved in bringing in bEArs during the year, to improve our image in our communities and to promote our profession as one that cares for others.
